“My husband commissioned a portrait of me as a gift. I am rarely speechless, but Matt’s interpretation of my look, as well as the addition of things near and dear to me, left me with no words. I don’t know how he did it, but Matt somehow managed to paint my soul! Women can be especially self-critical when evaluating their own image. However, when I gaze at the portrait, I think, “how did he get my eyes in there? That is ME; not just a picture of me!” I’ve never enjoyed looking at my own image like this! I immediately commissioned Matt to do a portrait of Jack, and once again, he nailed it!
