I like working with unique and challenging mediums. The drumheads have a slightly rough coating that resembles a canvas and lends well to portraits. The aged barnwood ranges from 100-year-old oak to 400-year-old Chestnut. The story in the barnwood is already there, it is my challenge to find the similarities with my subject and the wood. Drumhead art is framed with actual drum hoops or rims. Barnwood art has horseshoes with wire mounting on backs for hanging.
